Service areas
Alpha Mobile Welding TX coordinates on-site welding through partner welders in cities across Texas, from the Gulf Coast to the Panhandle. Pick your region below and find your city. Coverage is confirmed for each address, never assumed from a city name. Call 979-250-7486 or send an estimate request with your location and a photo, and we will tell you plainly whether a partner can reach you and when.
Partner coverage is confirmed per address before any visit is scheduled.
Statewide network
Alpha is not a chain of shops. It is a coordinating service. A request arrives with an address and a description, it is matched to a partner welder who already works that area, and the partner brings a truck-mounted machine, gas and consumables to you. No single crew covers both Beaumont and El Paso, so this is the only model that makes sense.
Each region has its own partner pool and its own typical jobs. Houston partners see refinery-adjacent fabrication, salt-air corrosion and trailer work. Dallas–Fort Worth partners see commercial build-outs and fleet repairs. Austin and San Antonio partners work around limestone, hills and fast-growing subdivisions. West Texas partners spend a lot of time on oilfield and ranch steel.
Coverage is real but not uniform. A city with several active partners can often take a same-day call, subject to availability. A rural address well outside a metro may wait a few days or carry a travel charge. We confirm that before you commit.
Common requests
The jobs change by region, but a few show up everywhere.
Cracked tongues, broken ramps, loose couplers and rusted crossmembers on utility, cattle and equipment trailers. The most common call statewide, from ranch roads to I-35 truck stops.
Sagging driveway gates, broken pipe fence, loose handrails and stair stringers. Wind, heat and ground movement are hard on exterior steel in every part of Texas.
Bucket lips, cracked loader arms, feeder frames and implement hitches welded in the field so a machine does not have to be hauled to a shop.
Dock plates, bollards, pallet racking, conveyor frames and handrails at warehouses and plants, usually scheduled around production or tenant hours.
Beam connections, columns, lintels and moment plates that need a welder at the building, normally with an engineer’s drawing and an inspection behind them.
Boat trailers, truck boxes, ramps and kitchen rails that need TIG or spool-gun MIG and the right filler, 4043 or 5356 for most aluminum alloys.
Services
Partners in every region offer the core services below; specialty work depends on local equipment.
Breaks, cracks and worn joints repaired where the part sits, with proper cleaning, beveling and filler selection. See welding and repair.
Gates, railings, stairs and brackets built in a partner shop and welded in place at your property. See fabrication.
Field welding for contractors and owners, following engineer-specified procedures where the code requires them. See structural welding.
Field repairs on loaders, excavators, tractors and implements, including preheat on thick sections. See heavy equipment welding.
TIG and MIG on non-ferrous and corrosion-resistant metals. See aluminum welding and stainless steel.
Urgent requests routed to the nearest available partner, subject to availability. See same-day mobile welding.
Why Alpha Welding
You describe the job once; we find the partner who fits it.
Work goes to welders who already operate in your region and know its materials, weather and permit habits.
If no partner reaches your address this week, we say so and suggest the nearest option instead of overpromising.
Stick for dirty field steel, MIG for production, TIG for aluminum and stainless. The match is made before dispatch.
Scope, access and travel are discussed up front so the number you hear is the number you pay, barring surprises in the metal.
How it works
The routing is the same whether you are in Katy or Amarillo.
Location, a few pictures and what broke. That is enough to identify the region and the right partner.
We check which partners work your address and whether they carry the equipment the job needs.
You get a scope and a price range, then a window that fits the partner’s route and your access.
The partner preps, welds, cleans up and walks you through what was done and what to watch.
Regional guide
Texas is really five welding markets. Here is how each one behaves and where to find its city pages.
Humidity and salt air drive the work here. Partners replace rusted-through trailer crossmembers, rebuild fence posts eaten at grade, and fabricate for the petrochemical corridor along the Ship Channel. Clay soil moves gates out of alignment every summer. The Houston metro hub covers nineteen cities from Katy and Fulshear to Baytown and League City.
DFW is a commercial and logistics market. Warehouse docks, tilt-wall steel, fleet trailers and new-subdivision fencing fill partner calendars, and the north Texas freeze-thaw cycle cracks welds that Houston never sees. The Dallas–Fort Worth hub covers thirteen cities across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton counties.
Limestone bedrock means posts get core-drilled and epoxied rather than driven, and hillside lots call for custom railings and stair stringers. Lake Travis and Lake LBJ add dock and boat-trailer aluminum. The Austin metro hub links Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Killeen and Waco.
San Antonio partners handle ranch gates on the Hill Country edge, military-town trailer repair and I-35 corridor logistics steel. Farther south, the Corpus Christi coast, Laredo trucking and the Rio Grande Valley around McAllen and Brownsville bring heavy trailer, marine and ag work. Start at the San Antonio metro hub.
These cities sit outside the four hubs and route through this page. El Paso has a desert climate and cross-border freight. Midland and Odessa are Permian Basin oilfield towns where pipe, skids and frac-site steel dominate. Lubbock and Amarillo are cotton, cattle and wind-energy country. Beaumont is refinery and port work in the humid Golden Triangle. Partner density is thinner here, so lead times can be longer.
Call 979-250-7486 with your address and we will tell you which partner pool covers it and what the timing looks like.

Every city below has its own page describing local conditions and typical jobs. Partner coverage is confirmed per address; cities without a page, and rural addresses between them, are checked case by case when you call.
FAQs
Straight answers about how far the network reaches and how it works.
No. We cover the cities listed on this page through partner welders and check other addresses case by case. Many rural areas are reachable with a travel charge; some are not.
Alpha coordinates the work. The welder who arrives is an independent partner who operates in your region. Alpha handles the request, the match, the estimate and follow-up.
In the four metro areas, same-day or next-day is often possible, subject to partner availability. In West Texas, the Panhandle and East Texas, plan on a few days.
Call anyway. Partners regularly serve addresses between listed cities. If nobody reaches you, we will say so rather than send someone unqualified from far away.
Most metro partners carry TIG or spool-gun MIG for aluminum and stainless. In smaller markets we confirm the equipment before dispatch, since not every truck carries argon.
Yes, where a partner is qualified and the work is specified. Structural steel usually needs an engineer’s drawing, a permit and a third-party inspection; we will tell you if your job falls into that category.
Rates vary by region and by job. Every estimate includes travel, setup and expected weld time. Aluminum and after-hours work cost more everywhere.
Vehicle frames are repaired only within manufacturer procedures and applicable rules; fuel tanks and pressure vessels are declined unless properly purged and certified. Partners will say when a job is outside safe practice.
Partners stand behind their welds and will return if a repair they made fails under normal use. Response times are not guaranteed, since partner availability changes daily.
Give a full address, photos and the metal type in your first message. A city name and a phone number alone always mean a second round of questions.
